well, after read ur review. i cant deny how true ur words are.
"in my opinion, Edward Cullen. Something about this Vampire just capture the female mind. He has the elegant manners of the old-fashion gentleman we've read in Austen, ....... I'm afraid human males have just lost their appeal."
yes, i dont think there is any single more…

Well, I could imagine the existence of the hate-mail, but I've never heard of it. I was more grieving about Rob being so adored. I felt much pity for him even before I read the books and understood appeal of Edward. And I'm not sure I enjoy the movie, though I can't tell I'm disgusted with his performance. He's a pretty bearable actor, and he did a more…

I must say out of your top 5 I would have to opt for Zanzibar of Fiji. I can't think of anything better than sitting on a beach snorkeling and relaxing with a cocktail with my man after getting married.

I remember Theo with great affection and with admiration. He had an agile mind and an effervescent personality and it was a great privilege to spend some of my life teaching him. When sorrowful thoughts enter my mind I will take myself back to those days, and be thankful that I knew him at all. In his short life he enriched the lives of many others more…

Whoever wrote this I MUST AGREE WITH YOU FULLY! My husband is from England and I am from the US. Snooker is not big over here at all, but it is huge over there. A few years ago we were there on a trip at the same time the World finals were on tv. I found myself addicted and started looking up players online. That's when I came across Neil Robe more…

I totally agree with your blog about this and the above comment. I hadn't heard too much about the Twilight Series until a friend pointed me in that direction. I didn't even realise they were making a film of it until it came out. It makes me feel physically ill to think that people would hurl hate mail at anyone, let alone Rob. Have these peeps go more…

I have a question. Do you have any information about date of release this film? On DVD or wide screen. It is desirable to know about russian premier. I want to see this film very much!!! I have seen the movies with Robert Pattinson and I think he is a very good actor. His role in Twilight is just a lucky ticket for him. And rather casual. more…

I haven't seen the movie yet, I was a little surprised by the casting of the "Twilight" teen idol as Dali. Oh don't get me wrong, I have no idea if Robert Pattinson is a good actor or not, my point is that he seems much to good looking to play Dali.
Salvador Dali really wasn't that attractive in a traditional sense, and I always thoug more…

I personally have not witnessed too many hateful comments toward Rob Pattinson online. The facts are: the man takes unbelievably good photographs, he's probably made more in one year than I have in my entire life, he's 22 and having fun doing what he loves most. Some people are just going to shine (others will always be jerks). I only hope that more…

I haven't seen the movie, so I couldn't really tell you if Rob's accent changes were on purpose or a harmless mistake.
If he is the excellent actor that I think he is, then they were probably on purpose, to convey Dali spending a number of years away from his home.
But after seeing the Twilight trailer, it's come to my attention more…

Thanks for the great review. Im a huge Rob fan so this made my day. It's really annoying me that some lucky people have already seen it and the rest of us have yet to even see a trailer! They promised us a trailer ages ago and still...nothing. I litterally can't wait to see this film and it makes me sad that I probably will never get to see it unle more…

Looooved this review, thank you for taking the time to not only write about it, but answer questions as well. I am a huge Rob fan of course, but I'm actually a great fan Lorca's work too. I studied it all thru college, and have actually performed some of his plays as well. So when I heard that Rob was involved in this project it just made my world! more…

I loved your review; for someone who is 'not in the know' in regards to the history of this story (in fact, I'd never heard of any of these people before), I am now suddenly fasinated because your descriptions of the plot and the emotions behind it were well told. I forgot to ask you if you thought the film length was about right. There was some talk that the end needed some editing. Here's a quote from IMDB

Hi
Many thanks for being generous with your time. On IMDB and the TMF site there are reviews which say Rob's accent slipped. Were you aware of this. I noticed one person had responded to the criticism as follows:
"I don't know what expectation others had of this film, but mine were exceeded. It was only towards the end tha more…

I appreciate your review and your expanded comments. I was not heavily anticipating this film due to the subject matter and the fact that I've never heard of any of the characters (although I adore Rob Pattinson). Your review made it sound very interesting and heartfelt, and now I can't wait. I think that I'll go out and buy Dali's biography to giv more…
